i enjoyed this on pc with a mouse and keyboard. not sure if i would enjoy it on a console.
It's not an RTS so it's surprisingly fine. Definitely better with a mouse, but it does work with a controller.
Very frustrating - I played a match on Xbox (comes with sub) and it's just annoying enough to not make it worthwhile. Little things like not being able to quickly scroll around the map, check tile details etc. (and it seemed to take forever to load enemy turns, though maybe there's a setting for that or it's the same across platforms).
International Microsoft stores have the PC version for the same price, yet once again Australia seems to get screwed over on licensing as it just redirects to the Xbox version.
I got this for cheap on switch, it just didn't run well enough to be bearable for me. Got it again on pc and enjoyed it for quite some time.
