I wanna be able to connect my iPhone 12 to my wired Ethernet connection and was wondering if anyone can recommend a adaptor to do this that works great

@Twisty: Ethernet adapter's USB plugs into the camera adapter that plugs into the iPhone's lightning port.

Android should work with basically any ethernet adapter.
I see but no one advertises it as suitable for Android.
Because the ethernet driver is part of the kernel, and it's near impossible to find an incompatible adapter or phone (unlike Apple accessories).
You can also search 'ethernet android' if it makes you feel better, but the adapters won't be any different.
The ones I Amazon seem like they don’t work for very long
Wish apple made one but the Belkin one is too $$$
If the Belkin ones too expensive, what makes you think an apple branded one would be cheaper?
It's a niche product.
Either pay $$ for a well built reliable one, or keep rolling the dice on cheaper Amazon ones with reviews (and if they fail or don't work, return to amazon and try the next)
Mind explaining why? Can you set up a wifi hot spot from the Ethernet port and have the phone use it exclusively?

This is such a niche use case that you’re not going to get many real world responses.
Your choices are paying premium for Apple official ones guaranteed to work or just pick third party one from Amazon that suits budget and return if doesn’t perform well.
