I was about to buy this but it has no HDMI port. Maybe I am just an old man running antiquated monitors but that seems an odd omission for this kind of device.
Adapter or USB-C to hdmi cable works, its just the physical plug
A dongle on my dock seems to be approaching the point of being goofy. And what will I do with all these HDMI cables if I have to start buying USB-C to HDMI cables? Again, maybe I am just an old man and I should get with the times. To each their own.
A fair point, but USB-C will become more and more common.
The advantage is you can also plugin USB-C to DisplayPort or USB-C to USB-C depending on what connections your monitor has.

Harvey Norman will find any excuse not to price match. Not a global retailer, it’s on special, price is below our cost, too much difference in price blah blah. Their price match policy is literally useless. I have even stopped trying with them now.

I had one and it sucks. Thunderbolt 3 is all over the place spec wise. Thunderbolt 4 docks are generally brilliant across the board however.
I’d say Thunderbolt as a spec is all over the place, period.
4 sucks as much as 3. Only additions is the ability wake up the computer through peripherals or power buttons on the dock.
TBF that is the computer OEMs that are not doing to spec.

What does this even do? Can I use this for my surface pro and get 2 x external display?
Yes, assuming it's a more modern Thunderbolt equipped surface pro. If it's an older model you might be better off with a used Surface Dock 1 ($50-70) /Dock 2 (125-150). This Belkin model gets don't iffy reviews, still can't fault the price so it might be worth a punt.
Does Surface Pro 7+ count as new?
Best I can say is maybe it'll work. I don't the l think that SPro 7 has Thunderbolt so it'll be up to the dock to fall back to USB C.
@Homr: USB A & USB C are physical ports.
USB number.number (2.0, 3.0, 3.1 etc) is the generation of the protocols/hardware that drives that port.
Thunderbolt is a protocol (a set of them including USB) and it normally uses the same size physical format USB -C. Thunderbolt is more advanced than USB 3.x. Thunderbolt can act as a USB 3.x to talk to a 3 X port..
I received dispatch notification a few hours ago with tracking number. Now just hope that the dock is decent. These docks/hubs can be hit and miss.

I have about 6 of these and the HP ones… one of the perks of working in an office/WFH situation.
This is my first time using Lasoo, I sort of stuffed up by hiding my email address when signing up via Apple ID. I didn’t get an order confirmation email. Would the orders on the Lasoo website/app be updated with the tracking number once shipped since I am not getting any emails from Lasoo as I’m having the Apple private relay?
You should still get all the mails that is sent to that private relay email address. (Like name suggests… relaying is the purpose there without actually giving your personal email address)
All I received was the PayPal authorised payment email. Checked junk inbox, nothing there either
Got an email with invoice. Said I would get another shipping confirmation email shortly after, but never arrived….
Got tax invoice a few min after order.
No shipping confirmation yet as of this morning.

Got the same cancellation email. The link last night changed from $65 to $425. Now the link just says "Product removed". Pretty poor on Lasoo's part.
