Today, I ported into Woolworths Mobile a few hours before the cut off time. It was done within 10 minutes and the old sim changed to SOS. I was happy it was very quick and didn’t test it. Just now I found out that I can’t call or sms out. I can only receive calls.
The prepaid is charged today so why can’t I call? I paid $170 and am I held hostage until Monday when I can call up to fix it? Shouldn’t they just not port over instead of doing a half port? I need to use my phone tomorrow. Can anyone with porting experience help with suggestions?
I think it is a purposeful setup for the stolen number situation. The previous SIM may be still have the callout function (to report it). Otherwise, the person may be in limbo.Just wait.
