Double Check Telstra Unlocking Phones

I have a prepaid mobile bought from Telstra Plus, so I called Telstra to get it unlocked.

After long waits on phone etc, the Telstra guy says it is already unlocked so doesn't need it.

The next day I had my doubts, so I called back, had long wait etc. Sure enough, it was locked. He doesn't know his job, so you can't rely on them.

You can only rely on one person, Pam & that is yourself.

So, what you need to do is get a job with Telstra & unlock your own phone.

That's really frustrating when two different people give you two different answers. Hope the first guy was actually the right one.

I spoke to 3 different Telstra agents (2 in store) and they tell me they don’t have the tools to unlock prepaid mobiles… what a crock!
