ALDI Ambiano 15l Steam Air Fryer - Only 1 Grill Tray

Purchased one yesterday from Aldi and while it seems to function OK but only comes with 1x Grill Rack and 1x Baking Tray, it has 2x slides for racks etc.

I think I'll have to return because with our current PowerXL Air Fryer that works exceptionally well, we have 3x Stainless Steel sliding racks and on a regular basis, we cook 2x scrumptious pizzas. With the Aldi 15l steam air fryer, we'd need 2 sessions of at least 15 minutes.

Also, even though it has a dehydration mode, the amount you can put on a tray isn't much and because the cycle uses 8 hours, it's almost pointless to use.

Looks good, nice features but only 1x Grill Rack is a killer. :(

  with personal experience, air fryers that are double or triple as something else like grill, steamer, oven, toaster doesn't work as well as a dedicated air fryer

  I contacted Tempo who it seems are the manufacturers and was advised I have 60 days to return if unsatisfied with performance. The unit was only released 1 week ago so it's impossible to find any reviews.

  I wouldn't say $199 is cheap for an air fryer and it's was very difficult to decide whether it was suitable prior to purchasing, the box doesn't mention what's included.

  I'll be cooking roast Pork loin tonight so that'll be a good test.

  It's main selling point is the steam oven functionality - the other features are really just a bonus. Steam ovens have specific benefits when baking that are hard to achieve without that function. And the "air fryer" feature on this oven doesn't really compare to dedicated air fryer ovens with powerful top mounted fans - even the Ambiano/ALDI air fryer with the see through glass door. This is more a fan forced convection oven than anything else.
