Was looking for a deal on the PC version and noticed this. Considering the RRP and current price on PC, it seems like a good price for a new release like this.
Price is for the physical copy on both PS5 Sold Out and Xbox Series X.

I've found they now only price match to stores within the same complex/strip/shopping centre. I asked them directly about their current policy at 2 different stores recently and they both confirmed this policy. Looks like they are getting even more stingy. I try to avoid them completely now, they are becoming more like Harvey Norman whilst still trying to maintain their bullshit "we're for the gamers" facade.
They also don't let you put the trade in on to credit anymore so you have to spend what you have in store. The way around this is to put it on a preorder for something way in the future.
It all depends on the ‘manager’ at each store. Some are more flexible than others. Some have x km radius and some same centre.
Postage $14.95 to Gold Coast… so $79.95 total delivered. Technically the cheapest i have seen, but geez that postage cost is absurd. Amazon has had it for sale for $83.99 for weeks now.
Amazon subsidies/absorbs massive shipping 'losses' to compete everyone else due to sheer size.
Mwave (or anyone) can come in cheaper than Amazon is impressive.
My main point is the $15 shipping fee… i can post a game in a bubble envelope for about $2.50 to anywhere in Australia.

It’s cheap as chips to buy this stuff on eBay, you can get like 200 game/dvd size padded envelopes for around $40 standard price.
@lordezekiel: Those tracking labels still need to be paid of when lodging them. So youll be looking at the envelope, stamps and also tracking labels and then finally paying the tracking labels which id probably 2-3$.

Other than the leave dungeon time change, it's only really the people with the top end builds getting nerfed. As far as I can tell, all I'm going to get from this patch is better loot from the key chests!

Im playing Sorc - got killed even more…..I actually hate seasons, just a bit of personal preference to try complete games, so creating new characters every 3 months doesnt entice me.

@johnwinkle: They thought they were smart by balancing the game with seasons in mind, and season bonuses. And that all the eternal realm players would end up playing season content and buying the battle pass for the boosts instead.

That's truly only in the absolute strictest sense. Rogues had a single nerf to siphoning strikes, and a whole raft of buffs.
Heaps of builds got lots of buffs, and some of the top end builds got an overall nerf.
As a blood necro I had a small nerf to blood Lance, but a host of other buffs across the rest of my build.

@XCelR8: They nerfed the exp. Shoulda got to 100 before the patch.
As for other classes, everyone got nerfed in both damage and survivability. And not just the meta builds, all builds. Builds that were barely viable are now worse off.
Goodle diablo 4 and look at the headlines about the backlash. Basically lots of problems with the game that weren't addresed in Patch 1, and everything they did was actually counter productive, out of touch with player base feedback and just completely wrong. They took the worst classes that were unplayable and nerfed them more. In general, made the game slower, harder and grindier despite being very slow, hard and grindy with no end - game. Basically everyone who paid $110-160 for this game paid for a 1 month campaign and live beta run.
I learnt my lesson with battlefield and Diablo 3. Don't buy games in the first 6-12m because it's effectively a paid beta run.
The price dropped to $65 because of the general impression and response to season 1.

Blizzard charges full price RRP and then subscription for wow, so wouldn't have saved you anything but future wasted payments

Is actually a really fantastic game for those with limited time e.g. 30-60mins per game session or night i.e. parents. Definitely aimed at a more casual audience which isn't such a bad thing. We have PoE for our more hardcore gamers. Majority of the backlash regarding patch notes come from those spending 4 hours+ per day which is a niche group limited to mostly streamers and their viewers. With the new season bringing more content great time to play.
They just increased the time it takes to level and removed the ability to boost your friends who don't have much time so they can actually experience a class in seasonal. What on earth makes it great for casuals? The fact they can pay extra for the privilege of completing a battle pass slowly over a season?
They also made helltide worse for casuals like me, cant do half an hour run anymore or you dont get enough drops to open chest lmao
Made leveling/grinding more of a slog (no lifers will still no life and manage it; if they wanted to) with monster level drop.
Also just generally made everything more tedious by increasing cooldowns, decreasing damage - they even changed the leave dungeon to 5 seconds instead of 3 WTF lmao
Nothing is great about this patch for a casual - from a casuals pov.
I feel this is the case. I'm in that demographic where I can squeeze 1-2hrs Max.
The events keep it interesting, but I feel as I get closer to 100 it's gonna get dry since it's all dungeon farming

Disc does not tie you to your blizzard accounts however digital license does.
digital on console still lets you play on two accounts with couch co-op
@10fps: Not sure how you've read my message, but I wasn't saying you couldn't with a disc. I was saying you don't specifically need the disc version to play on as many accounts as you want on the one console, you can do this with digital also.

No. It is a cross-gen bundle as clearly shown on the picture of the game, so it can be used to play both the Xbox One version and the Series X version of the game off the same disc.

Lost interest in Diablo 4 along the way.
I bought my 2 xbox Diablo 4 copies from JB Hifi (after I lost my ultimate discounted version) …. continued grinding my 2x characters and Lilith altars until FFXVI came out.
Then got hook and completed the game and started it all again until I nearly complete game +. (My Goty and pretty sure it will win for its OST too)
During the kid 's school holidays, I played Deep rock with them. What a fun multiplayer games. Rocking Star!
This week my freebie from temu arrived, a pow kiddy x70 (after sacrificing some emails and contact details) it's no miyoo plus but it does the job in emulating my fav. games. I started testing but ended up playing instead, dqv, ffvi and ff tactics every night.

Lorath from Diablo 4 and Cid from FFXVI are the same voice actor.
i played diablo 2 quite a lot, diablo 4 felt exactly the same to the point I dont want to play it. The game style belongs in the 90s.

4 just doesn't feel right. The level scaling was such a weird decision… I suspect it will evolve to something decent eventually but it will also be cheaper by then
I only played the beta for D4 and even from that, there were design decisions that left me scratching my head.
I adore D2 and have been playing D3 since its open beta (I have 3 PC accounts in total and the game on PS3 too). D3 is streamlined so much better than D4 and currently still has better QoL features. I'll keep playing that until D4 gets cheap on PC.
