Lol, funny coincidence - I just finished resolving a dispute with this seller about a defect with this exact monitor. It is very nice overall, but when displaying very dark grey (not complete black though) there is what looks like light leakage. https://i.imgur.com/CKszdyB.jpg

The seller was apologetic and offered a partial refund which I accepted. Using a window on a pitch black background looks great as you'd expect, but if the screen is entirely 1% grey you can see the green.

    Edit:
For example this link shows the 'leakage': http://color.aurlien.net/#000100 whereas this doesn't: http://color.aurlien.net/#000000 and both appear as pure black on an LG C2

    • Do you have the touch version? Wondering if it has the ugly touch sensor dots on it and if it’s as clear as the non touch one.

it's the exact monitor posted: 13.3 inch non touch.

I think it's almost certainly a factory defect, and is probably not the case for every single unit.

Certainly always a risk. A partial refund is fair for the defect.

    • How much refund?

Unsure how it can be "leakage" if the pixels are individually lit (oled).
Unless its some crap tier back reflective surface not doing its job? Maybe I just don't know enough about bad OLED designs..

      • Yeah idk, leakage is just the best way to describe it visually

    • This isn't really a defect per say. It's actually an artifact known as OLED Mura, and used to be fairly common and normal of OLED panels as the organic molecules have some variability of how much light they put out at different voltages. Pretty much all the original OLED PS Vitas had it.

Many modern panels avoid it using mura correction which basically adjusts the voltage driven to each pixel through a factory calibration. Some fix it by clamping black to a deep grey, and some just turn off the pixel completely when close to black.

  • Lowest I can get it to is $307.73?
It seems to only let me use one code at a time

  • Yea this deal is expired by the looks

  • promo codes gone

  • @Clear do you know of any portable OLED that are 120hz or higher?(don't need 4k)
