Well that was discombobulating.
After checking the price of Step Ones and 2 Unders I thought I'd go right to the source and grab half a dozen pairs. I can find the products OK but try as I might I couldn't find the 'add to cart' button anywhere. The closest I got was a 'contact supplier' button which I really didn't want to do as I only want a few pairs for myself.
So is Alibaba only for wholesalers/dropshippers? Or was there something totally obvious I missed? (Yes I was logged in. :) )

Alibaba is for placing large bulk orders, you will be dealing with either suppliers or even factories (and often have a Min Order Quantity or MOQ) and they won't entertain you if you aren't ordering a large quantity of items in one go. You'll also have to negotiate things like the price per unit, who is responsible for paying customs and import fees, how the products should be packaged and what carrier is used to deliver your stuff

If you are only after a few things you might want to shop at Aliexpress.
You want to find this product on AliExpress. It is the regular customer facing version of Alibaba and allows you to order in small quantities.

OK thanks, yeah have checked Aliexpress but prices for this stuff isn't much better than buying them here. Might look a bit harder tomorrow. And yes some interesting results indeed. :)
Fwiw the Kmart ones were recommended by some ozbargainers in some of the step one comment threads and I gotta say they ain’t bad. Sure they don’t have fun designs but the price is right and I go past Kmart at least once a week

look at actual measurements on the sizing chart rather than S,M,L.
I'm a Bonds medium and a lot of Asian sizing I take XL or XXL.
Suggest you look at the photos for the size of the tackle box too. Some are fine, some a bit snug.

Anyone else had much dealings (either good or bad) on Alibaba? I'm chasing a manual grout pump, crazy prices here in Australia $3000+
AB has them seeming a lot cheaper - obviously subject to unknown quality, freight etc - but thats the risks of the savings.
Any tips or approaches that one should use as invariably you get dozens of suppliers selling near identical items…..as every single one for a quote? Is haggling done? On item & or freight?
Is strictly a one off - so unsure whats the line between, you're expected to say,'No, can you do better?" and 'It's a one off sale, so stop wasting their time.'
