Low price on this Tuya-based IR remote controller/blaster, which allows you to use your phone as the remote for controlling devices including your TV and heatpump. Through the app you can configure more smart functions, like turning something on at a specific time.

Edit: For regular members the price is US$4.50 (~A$6.63) and for Diamond members (maybe Gold/Platinum?) it's US$3.88 (~A$5.72).

I use a few similar models around my house for the heating and aircon. Setup was easy as the IR codes were already in the Tuya database, but if they weren't you can manually assign each button easily.

It uses the Tuya Smart / Smart Life app and it's compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. Using a Tuya gateway you can assign more These do not work with RF.

AU$ based on current Mastercard rate, GST inclusive and stacks with cashback.

I found a Tuya Zigbee IR remote the other day and ordered one to try - apparently it works with HA no problemo https://vi.aliexpress.com/item/1005003878194474.html

Looks like the OP ones can be flashed to support Tasmota (https://www.elektroda.com/rtvforum/topic3961676.html#2051693…)

STOP mentioning HA………it's costing me too much and cluttering mine up with all these gadgets that I don’t need but want…hehe. :-)

  • Can it be used with Fetch TV box?

    • If the Fetch codes are already in the app, or can be learned if they aren't, then it would work just fine.

    • use Fetch App on your phone, it has a remote function via wifi
