CyberGhost VPN 26 Months $85.02 New Customers Only (95% Upsized ShopBack Cashback) @ CyberGhost VPN

70

Long time lurker and first time poster. Please be gentle.

95% cashback through ShopBack. New CyberGhost VPN Customers Only.

They don't offer generous cashbacks as often as the competition. I decided to pull the trigger on this VPN today after I found another well known competitor to constantly fail at masking my location, often leaking my IP to hosts. I found CyberGhost more reliable for streaming services, with more servers available internationally at my locations of interest.

List of available servers here. 48 servers in Argentina, 29 servers in India and 26 in Turkey, the most popular virtual travel locations for OzBargainers:

  • Owned by Kape Tech. Do what you want with that information.

    • I would only use them for my streaming services. If we want security with peace of mind then we need to shell out for the more pricey ones

I personally wouldn’t touch them for any use case.

    • Thanks for the information. I found it helpful.

  • I had Cyberghost for a number of years. The program worked well, but support was horrific. Hard pass.

  • "I found another well known competitor to constantly fail at masking my location"

    Who? I'll have a guess - PureVPN?

    • -1

Actually, this one is more prominent than PureVPN. I don't wanna name them to avoid causing trouble, and I still use them for other purposes because they have a less colourful history than the VPNs people would avoid for security purposes.

  • Aren't all the big name VPNs around this price? Such as Surf Shark?

    • Yes, but it's the 95% cash back that makes this of interest to some. There are times when that one VPN you rely on and trust will let you down. It's good to have a back up option

  • Can anyone verify if Netflix works on the Turkey VPN?

    • +1

I just tried it with my Netflix account by using a Turkish server and it worked for me. Recep Ivedik 1, 2 a 3 came up in search results. The first Recep streamed fine with Turkish subtitles available.

      • Awesome thanks

  • How long did it take for shopback to track for you?
