Gonna need at least B cups, my friend.
What's so good about these insulated cups?
keep your coffee warm (any drink actually, keep the cold/warm) as they taste awful when cold
Now i regret not gting it :(
same boat, was jiggling if I should get it then it's all gone - -
Don't feel too bad because almost all the heat is lost from the top, which has no more insulation than any other cup. The only real benefit of this type of open top insulated cup is that it won't burn your hand when there's hot liquid in it.
@umexcuseme: likewise for cold drinks, the outside of the glass won't sweat and get your hands wet, and your fingers don't feel the cold near as much
Not true- good coffee changes flavour profile as it cools down, and not necessarily for the worse.
maybe with americano… but for milk coffees I recon there's a huge difference
They're not going to do much to keep your drink warm as most of the heat escapes from the top, though probably would do decently keeping you drink colder for longer.
Nope not true speaking from personal experience and engineering background.
anecdotally i don't find this to be the case - coffee I have in these cups stays hot noticeably longer than in a ceramic mug.
@harro112: i think its also partially due to the thermal mass of the ceramic mug. if the cup is cold, it will inherently pass this into the coffee as it will try to equalise the temperature between mug and liquid.
If you preheat the mug with boiling water, then tip it out before adding the coffee, it should stay warmer for longer.

This experiment (by a former engineer) agrees with your hypothesis. The double walled glass starts off hotter due to having less thermal mass, but basically drops off at the same rate.
Got the last one thanks op
Is this the good pyrex or the one going under? Is this any less brittle than normal glass?
speaking of another brand of Double Walled Glass. It does not break as easy as glass but they do break eventually
I found it rather brittle. after the first wash, it broke. You have to be very mindful when handling these insulated cups
Thanks. I had an ikea glass knocked off the coffee table by my 2yo and it shattered into a billion pieces, so not doing that again.. (Lucky I was near)
it says 5 in stock but doesn't add anything! probably sold out!
Out of stock
I have a few of these and the QA is questionable. They still work and haven't cracked or anything but the top rim doesn't line up with the double walled part of the cup.
Any good ~350ml beer glass options?
stubby holder + standard pint glass
you are welcome.
A pint is 575ml unless you're in SA
Gotta keep my drinks insulated since I can’t keep my house insulated
LOL
+1 for spitting truths about Autralia's HORRIBLE building standards
I remember reading something on the internet ages ago about a recent migrant being horrified that we build our houses out of "mud and sticks". He wasn't wrong.
When you see your own breath in a Canberra house you know its bad.
I feel you mate, I’m way up north and the insulation here ain’t great
Didn't realise these double walled glass can be microwaved?
They can - once. :)
Not what I was expecting on how Amazon packed this. Not even an outer Amazon box for extra protection but instead it came with the original Pyrex packaging
When I picked up my delivery I could hear broken glasses inside. One of the glasses broke, had to contact Amazon for replacement
A cup each, I'll come keep you warm my friend
