Went to coles for some alfoil and noticed that these multix alfoil were half price.

I assumed the deal started on 12th July and expires on 18th July.

    That's a special buy, starts Saturday 22/7.

    The cost works out about the same. The Multix is 11.7c/m. The Aldi is 11.3c/m.

    The Aldi one has 2½ times the foil so the box is bigger and heavier, harder to handle but better for the environment.

      Yeah starts Saturday. Looks pretty big to store in a normal drawer. Anyway they all work out the same , the normal Aldi stuff is only about $5 all the time (30m).

  And the quality is going down hill fast over the last few years - u have to go heavy duty for the traditional thickness and strength. I won't even touch store brand now.
