Never thought I'd say this, Neutron Player is the best of the best. That is if you can overlook its archaic interface.

  AIMP is free and worth a look if you want to play more than just MP3s (there are dozens of audio formats from midis to mods to MP3 to uncompressed formats).

I wonder what shuffle methods it uses. A fully random shuffle always feels like it plays the same songs more often than not. The interface looks nice though.
