50% off Oral-B Precision Clean Electric Toothbrush Refill 16-Pack $53 ($3.31 Each) @ Coles

1032

Half-Price Oral B toothbrush heads - 16 pack is the best by unit price.

Lots of others on half price too, but still at a higher unit price.

I think this beats Amazon Prime Day, ALDI, Costco and last week's Woolies 40% off.

Others at half price: https://www.coles.com.au/search?q=oral%20b%20electric%20toot…

Credits to JuiceWRLD for the Cashrewards Stack Reminder. Brings unit price down to $3 each. Item not eligible

      16 years supply for me…

      • +1

I win…Lifetime for me, I don’t have an electric toothbrush

        • +1

just think of them as short handled manual brushes then
          .

  • +1

Anything cheaper that fit the same toothbrushes. Aliexpress?

    • +17

Cheap ones aren't worth it. I remember buying a cheap set off ebay and the springs gave out after a month. Replaced with another head and same thing so just resorted to buying branded heads.

      • +5

A month? You were lucky - I remember the cheap generic branded ones I had the head gets wobbly on first use, pinches the insides of your mouth as you rotate the bristles side to side, which eventually falls off ejecting shards of plastic and metal into your mouth from the shaft.

In hindsight - that story unintentionally ended up being needlessly erotic. As you were.

    • +10

Be careful with generic brands. I did this years ago and the bristles were too firm. I ended up wearing the enamel on some of my teeth.

    • +4

Bought generic ones from Woolworths. The head rotated fine when you turned it on outside of your mouth, but the moment you applied any pressure the head stopped rotating, so you were essentially just slowly moving a static toothbrush around your mouth without releasing it wasn't actually doing anything.

Thanks all will be getting these today

brushing your teeth properly will always be cheaper (and less traumatic) than cheaping out and getting reamed at the dentist

Cheap thing not good, good thing not cheap

Dont forget to stack with this

    • Cheers updated post

      • It doesn’t stack with coles online. Only the exclusive items.

    • +3

Coles online is not available with Cashrewards unless it's a best buy online exclusive

  • Great value but I don't particularly want to hoard 4 years worth of these..!

    • +3

The box is like 5x5x10cm. Go halves with your friends if it bothers you

    • +1

For some reason I thought it was a much bigger box. Thanks mate

Amazon is now shipping Chinese made stock, hopefully these are older German stock?

(Their toothpastes are now made in China as well, but I did stock up on some of the German ones when it was half price last time)

    • Rip the German stock. JB has made in China stock now.

    • +1

Just curious but is there an actual quality difference or?

      • +4

No idea, haven't opened them yet.

But the only reason to shift product to China is cost cutting, which often go hand in hand with quality cutting. So its guilty until proven innocent.

        • But the only reason to shift product to China is cost cutting, which often go hand in hand with quality cutting.

          Exception: Tesla vehicles.

    • Just bought in store. Mine is made in China.

  • $20 off from $70+ at Costco so similar price as Coles. Definitely not 50% off price.

I change the head every month so it is 16 months supply. I got it from Costco.

    • So is this deal better than the price at Costco's?

      • I cannot remember the costco price exactly. It was $70 something. If the costco is away buy it in Coles.

    • +2

Changing the head every month is neither economical nor resourceful. These can last 6 months easily and many push it way longer.

Hi OP, please remove the CR stack reminder. Both Coles online and Coles plus are no longer available on CR. My Apologies for not checking this prior

  • Still using mine from 2019

  • Any deals on toothbrushes?

    • Oral b electric toothbrushes that these go with are $25

  • +2

I recently thought to try a pack of these off aliexpress

They're knock offs but depending on what version you want you can get them for around $1 or less each in a pack.

They work just as good if not better, I was really impressed, the bristle softness is about the same new.

  • For the floss action variant, Amazon is still cheaper: https://www.amazon.com.au/Oral-B-FlossAction-Electric-Toothb…

  • +7

    Isn't it cheaper on ebay

https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/354814934343 better precision cross action brush and cheaper
    Plus ebay discounts

    • Cheers, I went with this. Always used cross action, though I do wonder if precision is any good? Anyone who's used both care to chime in?

      • +1

Most reviews online say cross action is supposed to be better than precision.

    • Seller won't accept returns for this item

      • Are you planning to return it?

    • Thanks Sintro! I went with this…got an ebay discount!

This is potentially 16 years of supply. I wonder wether this will still be compatible in future though. I replace my brush handle every 5 years when the battery becomes a joke, hopefully we can still buy the compatible handle throughout the 16 years.

    • -1

16 years? Oral b recommends changing brush head every 3 months. Mine last about 2 months.

      • +1

He meant the handle not the brush head

        • lol no he didnt

Chemistwarehouse has the same thing for $69.99

But with their price beat guarantee, should be able to buy this for about $51, if you show the Coles ad to them at the counter.
(I purchased something today for a lower price from Chemistwarehouse by showing them the price of an item from another shop).

    • Manager says NO.

I was told CW only price beat competitors, since Coles is not a chemist, they are not competing with them.

      • +1

I have price matched things from Woolworths in the past and had no issues. Maybe you got unlucky or i got lucky

Ordered this on Coles Online with some other stuff and they cancelled this item shortly before shipping the rest. What a scam.

  • Ordered and cancelled twice.

    • I ordered tues for delivery during the new catalogue. Cancelled. Still showing as available for delivery. Had rest of my order delivered.
