Thanks I'll add to the description :)

    • Paid $3, ($2.70 S&S) last time I bought this….

      Albeit, back in May 2021.

Guess $4.05 is the new cheap price now

      • Was $3.05 / $2.77 with s&s in Dec 2022 :)

  • Is this similar to the Nizoral Anti-Dandruff Shampoo 2%?
I use the Nizoral one due to using minoxdil so wondering if this would do the same job plus its much cheaper

    • I'm not sure if it's as good?

I've tried both, and I find this Tar shampoo does a better job at controlling my dandruff / dry scalp, combined with a good moisturising conditioner. In fact it was recommended to me by a dermatologist.

But for the purpose of preventing hair loss, I think the other shampoo comes more recommended.

  • Is Neutrogena the best shampoo in Australia?

  • Thanks, OP!

    this stuff is legit, updooted

  • Anyone know if this is better than Selsun Gold? Been using SG but dont mind trying this one as SG is more expensive at the moment.

    • So I have Seborrheic dermatitis on my scalp/face

I've found TGel doesn't help a lot. Selsun gold is pretty weak/ineffective(mildly smelly). Sebizole works best but need to rotate it in and out sometimes as I'll build up a temporary resistance. During the swap out things get worse. Sebizole is expensive though.. But it smells considerably better than SG and Sebitar etc. Been a while since I tried TGel so can't comment on that smell.

Of course. YMMV regardless. And if it's primarily for dandruff it should be fine.
