So I made that previous thread polling whether ozbargainers were willing to purchase Diablo IV with its exorbitant pricing. Well here's the follow up. Was it worth it? Why or why not?

I can now confidently say, that it was absolutely not worth my fucking money. They can't balance the game for shit, unless malignant hearts somehow offer 50+% scaling.
Not sure since I've only got 200 hours in the game but I'll let you know in another 200

As it is and up until now, yes it has been worth it.
If seasons end up being bad, it would of still had been worth it as I got my hours worth
Diablo IV - super palatable, hyper additive, single dimensional, crack
so no - I wish games were more like back in the day which had a "bit more". Games now days are just the gaming equivalent of junk food, feels good for the first while then you just feel dirty / sick / bored / etc
Dunno got one with my 4070ti and sold it for $60
Its pretty good so far, the campaign and cut scenes etc were good. Hit level 60 and looking forward to the season coming on the 21st.
I didn't buy it. But I always felt Diablo would suit a phone or tablet more than a PC or console.
depends how much you paid/pay for it , got it free with a 40xx card , campaign was great, but definitely not worth the $110 they asking.
Wasn't worth it but not worried about the cost. Disappointed that it missed the mark so hard when there are so few good ARPGs in the market and will likely be a long wait for the next Diablo entry.
The battle pass comes out soon and IT COSTS MORE MONEY

You don't need to buy the battle pass though. All it does it give you some skins. Blizzard have said that the battle passes will be cosmetic only. Whether that remains to be true for the life of Diablo 4 is another story altogether. If they could include pay-to-win elements in the battle passes and make even more money than they'd lose then I think they'd be doing it already.
Bought it for 44, didn't play it, got refunded and don't want to buy it.
Ms / blizz Activision deal is going through so I'll just play it for free on game pass, after they fix the half baked game. So it will be worth it eventually ($0)

Lvl 66 Nerco here…. is it worth it? IMO, in general, no. But I would have still purchased the game if there were alot of negative reviews cause I played D1, D2 and D3 and I enjoyed them very much, but I think D4 is the worst of them all.
But my advice, people like or hate the game, there's no inbetweeners, go buy it and see.

My partner and I bought a game each as part of the Xbox hack deal posted on here where you got the ultimate version for $44, that was worth it. After a week and a half Microsoft cancelled our order and refunded our $44 - did I buy Diablo after my order was refunded, nah we didn’t. So I don’t think it was worth it.
