I've had my eye on this for a while, cheapest it's ever been.
Reviews seem to be positive for the size, think at this price it's definitely worth a punt.

I actually have that set already, they're outstanding for the price albeit slightly lacking in bass, but again, for the price you'll be blown away.
Trying the D12 for a bedroom as space is limited, if they're anything like the others in terms of quality I'll be happy. Free returns too so can't go wrong.
Actually, just read this post. R1280DB is similar to R1280T from reading on another site. So if space isn't an issue I should probably get the pair instead of single box speaker.
If you have the space, 2 separate speakers should have better stereo separation.
D12 has a sub out for future expansion.
Not much of a discount for prime day with the r1280t
Perhaps look at the R1700bts or r1280dbs if you can stretch the budget.
Anyone have one of these on a bedside table?
Tempted….
Throw a $19 Echo Dot Gen 3 on it for a smart speaker with decent sound.
I'll be connecting a Chromecast Audio to mine (remember those!), have 8 in the house in total all grouped and available through Google Home / Assistant.
Such a shame they were discontinued and now so expensive second hand :/
I know comparing two different form factors, but it helps me in making decision. How is the sound of this speaker compared to Edifier R1280T. I am interested to the simple form factor of this, but doesn't want to loose sound quality.
