Fantastic device. Lowest I ever saw it for total around 400 depending on your exchange rate with the promo and store coupon.
This is proper CN firmware in Chinese/English with L1.

Likewise, I bought mine about 4 - 5 months ago. This price has got to be the lowest I have seen ever, by at least $100. Very good tablet, though a bit heavy and the screen can be very reflective. Highly recommend at this price.
Can any owners here please comment on how long the tablet can stay in standby (eg. connected to WiFi but screen off)? My iPad lasts more than a week, just wanted to see if anyone had similar experiences with this tablet? I have an LG V30 as a dedicated music player and it dies after a day or two of not being on the charger, so I wanted to make sure this isn't similar.
Thanks!
I'd estimate it loses about 10% per day without using it.
Definitely check out if it's suitable for you though because the stock firmware loves to kill background apps, something I find quite irritating because you miss notifications.
I didn't buy a 12Gb tablet to have zero apps open in the background. Apparently it works almost perfectly on a different ROM but I haven't attempted that yet.
I do really like the tablet though.
https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/legion-y700.4418573/page-… has a lot of info about it, but it's not very organised.
thanks a lot @mortymorty. I googled the device with the terms 'standby time' but couldn't find anything conclusive so your info is really helpful, thank you!
I've been eyeing off the device for a while but the software update situation has always concerned me, but at this price point it is very tempting.
Nice find. Definitely packs a lot of punch and the perfect form factor.
Can someone who has one of these confirm what the screen is? They say it's oled but then on other websites it's listed as 120hz IPS
I have one of these and it is not an OLED screen. The screen is also highly reflective.
Thanks for the info, shame it isn't oled but maybe not such a big deal if the screen is still high spec.
Apparently there's a new version of this coming out soon. So I'll guess the price will be reduced further.

If that is true and the refresh will get SD8, then this one is still great for battery life alone

Looks to be a nice update over this one
Depends on the price and battery life.
Will the new one have less battery life due to the new CPU?
Should be better as it is a straight upgrade from 870
Does this have play store?
Bought the higher capacity (12/256) a month ago for around $480… amazing device. I love using it, perfect size and quite smooth/powerful for games i have thrown at it so far.
