More exhilarating home theatre
Unlock your entertainment experience when you pair Sub Mini with Beam or Ray. The 5 GHz WiFi connection enhances audio transmission speed so you can enjoy films, shows, and games with high-quality sound reliably synced with your TV.

More mesmerising music
Never miss a beat and hear more nuance in every note when you pair Sub Mini with One or One SL.

Core power
Within the acoustically-sealed cabinet, dual custom woofers generate the full-toned low frequencies of a much larger subwoofer. Advanced processing further enhances the bass response.

No buzz or rattle
Both woofers face inwards to create a force-cancelling effect that neutralises distortion.

Better bass for your space
Trueplay™ tuning technology adapts the bass for the unique acoustics of the room so it never sounds harsh, muddy, or flat — even if you place Sub Mini next to the wall.

Hides in plain sight
Elegant and compact, Sub Mini blends in beside your furniture and easily fits under a desk or table.

Connects wirelessly
Sub Mini connects to your system over WiFi, so you can place it wherever it fits and looks best in the room.

Plug, add, play
Just plug in the power cable, open the app, and follow a few simple instructions to add Sub Mini to your system.

Easy control
The volume automatically adjusts along with your paired soundbar or speaker. Use the Sonos app to customise the EQ and change the bass level to your preference.

I have one of these and 2x of the larger ones.
Must admit, these have more than enough punch for most rooms and I was very surprised with mine.

    • Yeah I bought the black one recently to add to my beam Gen 2 and one surrounds and it’s definitely worth it. Couldn’t justify the price jump to the big one.

    • Cheers, I’ll add this to the post!

    • That's a great price on the Five. It never seems to be on sale, and has been getting more expensive every year.

    • Great discounts, but it looks like the other deals are also for the white Sonos items. Black are all normal price.

  • +2

Think the white will clash with my all black Sonos (Arc / Era 100) setup?

    • +2

I'm the same, if only the black was on sale too

    • +1

I think it'd work. The soundbar and surrounds are generally at eye level or thereabouts whereas the sub can be tucked behind/beside a chair etc

    • +1

Depending on your placement you could possibly hide it. Wasn’t an option for me though so I went with black too.

    • +2

Ymmv but I just picked up the sub in black for the white price at JB, I just asked nicely

    • Look to the cookie!

  • Do I bother driving to my local Coles for gift cards or do they tend to disappear on day 1?

    • +1

I just did. No gift card on promotion at all. But still happy to pick this one up at this price.

      • +2

Thanks for the reply mate. I did the same as you. I thought about having a look for GC but decided that $489 is sweet enough.

        Thanks OP :)

  • need it in black

  • Gerry has matched. Wish Black was on sale as well.

  • +2

JB chat able to offer $469 sub mini/$875 sub gen 3.
    YMMV

    • +2

Got them down to $475 hahahah

      • +1

        $480 for me :(

        • Same# oh well.

          • @milobob: Wow, it has delivery now within 90mins via uber. Geez…

            • @milobob: Hopefully old mate doesn't just chuck the box in the back of the car.

        • Looks like HN is selling it for $485 now.

    • Wait how do you do this if the price is already reduced? As in asking for a cheaper price?

      • +1

Harvey Norman has it advertised slightly cheaper
So I asked nicely if they can beat it

    • Ending up getting the sub gen 3.

      $875 - $30 perks - $105 (15% extra on $700 ultimate gc). Paid $740 after discount.

    • How'd you manage to get $469? Was that their first offer or did you do a bit of bartering? They only offered $484 to me and I was very polite.

  • +3

I certainly don't need to buy one as I'm quite happy with just my Sonos Beam (Gen 2), but something is telling me to buy one - and the colour would match my Beam!

Maybe I should just wait till the end of the year and see if my urge to buy one is still there. I'm sure we'll see these prices again.

    • You're a stronger than person than I am 😑

    • Do it! Or get the Ones as surrounds. I personally noticed a bigger difference getting the surrounds first. They pop up on marketplace/gumtree regularly.

  • +1

wife: you can buy this if u can get the tv to match its color.
    me: wtf

    • you can buy the Samsung frame TV and then purchase customisable bezels that come in white.

  • Hi guys,

I'm really pulling my hair out over whether or not to pull the trigger and buy the sonos arc.

Funds are a bit tight at the moment, so I wanted to know how often these sonos products go on sale, and when they do, do they go as low as what they're currently advertised for?

Curious to hear your thoughts. Thank you!

    • +4

I've noticed recently that they go on sale quite often, but 30% off - which is what this deal is, is about the best there is I think.

    • +1

They are always around 15% below retail if you can access JD/GG commercial sites. If you search there's instructions on how you can access them.

  • Hey guys, bit of a noob question but will this pair with my existing google nest speaker group and can I control it through Google Home?
Love my google speaker swarm but it lacks bass

    • +1

I don’t believe you can but I could be wrong.

    • +2

Nope - I have a bunch of google homes & a sonos beam+2symfonisks+minisub and you can add the sonos to your google home app, but you cant add it to a speaker group

      • thanks guys, saved me $489…. time to buy another monitor i don't need

  • Great price for a great product.

Just wish the Sonos android widget had a quick toggle for sub on/off, like it does for night mode or speech enhancement.

  • Mine ended up costing me less than $400. Reduced to $478 with HN price beat. Reduced to $448 with JB Hi Perks $30 off for $300 purchase. Paid with $400 worth of Ultimate gift cards from Coles that had $460 of value loaded (extra 15% value) as per link in OP's post. Ended up with $12 left over on the Ultimate gift card :-)

You can do the HN price beat online, but unfortunately you'll have to go in-store to pay with Ultimate gift cards (treated as debit/credit cards) as you can't pay with multiple cards online. Just show them the price beat and they punch in the code for it into their system and you pay for it at the counter.

  • Great deal.
