I have this, but the one with the TSA lock. The one without a lock is on sale. $99.

Happy with mine. Better than spending more on Samsonite with their trash 10yr warranty (which they never honour and blame airline damage). Amazon more likely to honour returns

Samsonite carry on : ~$180 when on sale

      • +5

But thats Samsonite, not no brand.

        • -2

Ok $80 extra for a brand. Your choice.

My free Samsonite from Asahi beer is still look nice and strong

Will people judge me if I take this to the business lounge?

    • +2

No, they will instantly recognized its Jeff Bezos brand, no worries mate.

    • I won't. I take mine into Qantas one lounges.

    • You will be identified as a “Credit card churner”, so, yes.

    • I carry a duffel bag I use for the gym as well

No one cares and if they do then they have issues

    • Putting an OZbaragainer sticker will fix the looks

  • Its pretty heavy if it is indeed 3.3kg (the measurements on the advert are a bit confusing) Thats nearly half of most people's 7kg limit.

    • Mine weighs 2.7kg (just checked). My Samsonite Octolite carry on is 2.6kg.

    • +7

That's why I prefer to carry my carry=on on woolies free bag

    • Clearly says it weighs 2.76kg. Yes that's rather heavy.

    • That colourway will look even better with the ozbargain sticker on it!

  • I bought the bigger boy of this, the zippers are inside out but aside from that it was fine for my trip

  • I'm surprised what you say about Samsonite warranty.
I have had nothing but great experiences with them.
They are still replacing the wheels on my American Tourister luggage after 8 years.
    European cobblestones destroy suitcase wheels.

    • I've had 2 problems with the wheels on both suitcases. Both times the service centre claimed airline damage and refused to fix under 10 yr warranty terms. Those were the last ones I bought from Samsonite. Now I'd prefer to buy cheaper luggage and toss them if damaged

      • That's pretty crappy. My last one this year, they just posted me out a full set of wheels for the one wheel that was damaged. I think I have had four claims with them and never a problem on suitcases that are now eight years old. Obviously YMMV.

        • Yep. Guess they don't care about some consumers which is fine. Plenty of other suitcase brands out there.

My Featherlite spinner is 1.8kg, over 3kg is deal breaker.

    • Yep bought one the other day. This case is way too heavy. Might be ok for a few pairs of jocks.

  • Buy crap buy often
