RRP $2199.
Great price I reckon! Apparently heaps of stock.

Bit harsh to neg. For a walk in price (if you're a Costco member) this is good and doesn't require gift cards or pretending you're a student or teacher at edu store
Well the neg is for the supposed deal not anything else. Apple edu doesn't really require any pretending, it's open to public, delivered (doesn't require you to walk into a store), doesn't require a membership and would save upwards of $200 compared to this deal if 10% discounted gift cards were used. I think the neg is valid so that people can be aware and get a better bargain
TBF I don’t think 10% off gift cards are a fair comparison, given that anything above 5% is also impossible to find (unless I’ve missed something) and that 15% off promotion was a one-off from some time ago now.
@casualusercts: There is a Flybuys / Everyday rewards bonus point offer (which almost equates to 10% off) happening almost every month now. Not a rare thing at all. And it's cheaper even without discounted gift cards anyways
@casualusercts: Seriously? 10%almost every other week at Woolies and Coles for most (rewards program participants)
@casualusercts: Just in case today last day in Coles for 20x Apple gc
@casualusercts: Coles literally had the equivalent of 10% off gift cards this week.
I got $150 credit back from buying $1500 worth of apple gift cards (will spend in the next week or two on groceries).
After that credit back, a got a Macbook M2 Air (13inch) for roughly $1424 out of pocket, delivered yesterday, RRP is $1799.
Bought from AOC EDU Store.
I think a further 10% off the $1919 price at AOC EDU is easily achievable.
@RideCurbs: Those bonus points offer don’t save you any money off the purchase at Apple though, and they’re not of use if you’re a member of those programs and shop at Coles/Woolies (which most could/would obviously).
Personally, I don’t have either of those programs and they don’t interest me, so I don’t consider them a discount.
@casualusercts: Similarly, I personally no longer hold a paid membership at Costco so I dont consider this even remotely close to a deal
@0FoxGiven: No probs Fox. Please submit your equivalent post for cheaper and I’ll remove mine.
@31mop: Naaa.. unless its around $1800 without using discounted gift cards I personally wouldn't consider it a real deal.
@casualusercts: So you’re one of the few, most will benefit
@casualusercts: Non-rewards linked discounted Apple gift cards https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/787427
@RideCurbs: Tried to explain this in an M1 deal post and got shouted down, some people clearly aren’t here for bargains ;)
Alternatively, cheaper here if you are willing to buy from apple directly:
256GB for $1919.50
512GB for $2,206.60

Yep good deal if you can access it. I don’t know any students lol
You don't have to know a student. Just place the order.
As mentioned by others when you posted the same deal few minutes ago, this is not a deal. It's cheaper at $1919.50 in the Apple edu store, not restricted to QLD, doesn't require a membership to purchase either. Can be even cheaper if purchased with discounted Apple gift cards
