Decent deal, but still not as good as the Optus deal at $10 each.

      • But can anyone access the optus deal ?

        • +1

There's a glitch that allows anyone to access it, search OzBargain and it'll have been mentioned numerous of times.

select the Movie and time you want then change the end of the web address from &bookingsource=web_sessions to &source=optus

        • thx mate

        • I for one have been asked to produce my "optus card" at the cinema . I was given the ticket but told not to bother next time . I know plenty of others have got away with it hassle free as I have done many times before but I won't bother again .

There's no such thing as an Optus card….

        • Seconded, There is no such thing as an Optus Card

        • This doesn't work anymore, i think event cinemas finally realised there was a bug

        • aw…

        • It works just fine but please note it is not bookingsource but source=optus also not valid after 5pm saturday

        • Yes I confirm I tried again and it was working fine :)

  • Optus offer only charges $10 per movie.

i have some tickets if someone is interested to buy in bulk for $9 a ticket? i got about 6 atm

    • i also sold them once b4 on ozbargain~ i sold about 12

    • i have some tickets if someone is interested to buy in bulk for $9 a ticket? i got about 6 atm

      I'll buy 6 for $54. What's the expiry ?

      • have to find out when i get home but its like 9-12 months

  • I bought 10, it was $8.50 total shipping. I like this because you can book online or walk in. I prefer to walk in as sonmething can always come up if you book online.

    • +1

You get 1.10 fee from booking online. No ozbargainer will stand for that :p

      • It depends on if you thought the ticket line would be massive. I think the fees suck, but I do value my time, somewhat. I like going to the short line for online purchasers.

        • What is this 'short line?'

The GU cinema I go to just has one line where everyone lines up, ticket purchased already or not!

        • That's how it should be. The people that serve you are the same, it's not like there is a separate counter like Qantas Gold Club. I feel like a twat cutting in on people that have been lining up for 10 minutes. It's rude, so I line up in the normal line regardless if I purchased online.

I like buying online with the Optus Offer. $10 includes the booking fee, you get to choose your seats rather than what the person at the cinema chooses for you, stand in the short line & go through almost straightaway = win :D

  • My local movie store is only $5.50 for students and $6.50 for adults :o

    • +3

Can I live in your area?

      • So, are you a student or adult ?

      • sure babe, anytime ;)

  • anyone know the rydges $10 deal still works? have a link to ridges website for terms and conditions?

  • Optus movie deal ends 20th October unless they extend it

    • OMG……..

    • for real ?

      • Probably not there's always a date on it, the date comes and goes it still works they put a new date on it usually 6 month more or so an so on
