What Do You Use to Wash Your Macpac Jackets?

What do others use?

Is the Grangers Down wash any good? Amazon $24.99 or should we be getting something cheaper?

Any help would be appreciated.

All the outdoor stores will have something; it’s all much the same

Key is to use a dryer to dry it after you wash

I've used grangers products on my outdoor gear and they're good. The drying process is more important for a down jacket.

You can use regular detergent and liquid soaps are best. If you're using regular detergent, the key is less is more because you need to get all the detergent out.

Read the manufacturers instructions but generally Dry it flat and then put it in the dryer to even out the down

I use a gentle liquid detergent - Ecostore or Earth Choice - (just not eucalyptus) in a cold wash.

I use Dr Bronner's Unscented Castile Soap and put in dryer on delicate setting
