You can get a DIY patch kit from Bunnings for around $10. It comes with everything you’ll need except the paint.
You can Bunnings to colour match your existing wall paint. Just bring a piece of the plaster, size of a 50c coin or larger, and they can match the colour for free. You don’t need a lot of paint for a 7-8cm hole. Just get a sample pot from any paint brand (around $5-10).
Check YouTube and DIY if you don’t want to pay $300.
Thanks euphemistic. It's just the finishing touch up which I'm a bit concerned. If you keen let me know.
If it’s only 7-8cm legit you could diy if you are even remotely handy
Bunnings sell a stick on patch with mesh , plaster it , sand and paint it.
Imo $300 is reasonable if the finish is professional and I assume you care because it might be a rental?
