Also, stick egg cartons to your walls (yes, there is science behind this). Back in the day … our high school radio station, we lined the walls with egg cartons … all to do with acoustics/etc.
OP may end up with a quirky looking house, but atleast wont be annoyed by the sound of bouncing balls anymore.
[EDIT] … jokes aside. What i'm highlighting - Best be looking more at the room/etc … rather than any sort of "quiet ball".
Even having thick/heavy curtains in the room does a great job of absorbing the sound.
