Hello all! Wanted some advice on products or techniques you have for keeping the showers dry to prevent mould growth. Currently I hand-dry the shower, keep the fan on, and door open (no windows) to help ventilate the bathroom. Looking for any easier alternatives to this (if any), cheers!

Pro tip.
Plus some dehumidifiers (like this one) have a clothes drying feature that uses a quarter of the electricity that a vented dryer does, allowing you to turn a small bathroom into a clothes drying room, and kill two birds with one stone. That seems amazing, will check it out.
techniques you have for keeping the showers dry
Sponge
Sounds like your drying is already top notch. Now remove any mould and clean thoroughly, then apply sealant. Repeat as required, probably every 6 months or so if you want to be thorough.
Spray water repellent rain x
Second the dehumidifier.
Would recommend opening the windows of any adjacent/nearby rooms on lower-humidity days just so any excess moisture you can’t see has another chance to escape. An hour a day is all you should need.
Also, do you ever dry clothes inside the house? If so, do you open the windows?
Don't dry any clothes indoors, so that shouldn't be a problem. Will check out the humidifier, cheers!
Make sure it's a dehumidifier not a humidifier 🙂
Whoops, thanks
hang on, we have to dry showers now? i let mine drip dry
Is this bathroom in a flat with no window to the great outdoors?
So many new houses plus stupidly renovated old houses have bathrooms with no windows
I keep a squeegee in the shower and give a quick wipe on the glass and walls before exiting
Just started doing this. Makes it so much cleaner!!
Second this. Also, grab a suction hook to hang it in the shower. Quick once over when done.
Great recommendation, will pick one up!
