  What's the difference between this and the ultimate or ultra dry variations?

    For size 1 and 2 there is no ultimate or ultra dry, this is the main huggies nappy for those sizes. From size 3 and up you have the Ultimate and Ultra Dry, Ultimate is better but Ultra Dry is fine too.

      It's weird because reading some of the older pre-2020 baby forums etc it seems like Ultimate used to come in those smaller sizes.

        Not sure, I didnt have a kid back then, but its not the case now. I think its hard to sell premium nappies in size 1 & 2, these are more than fine at that age and you could even get away with cheaper ones in the first couple of months. The older they get, the more important the quality becomes.
