Eligible Purchases do not include ATM transactions, cash out only transactions, cash equivalent transactions, gambling transactions or payments made with Gifts Cards, through PayPal, Delivery services or Buy Now Pay Later providers.

@Sheng: Thanks for the tip about the tap and pay on the physical card. I probably won't try it out as all my spending goes on a rewards credit card so I'm always going to eat the fee at Aldi.
I'm only carrying the physical Westpac card in my wallet for this promo to grab an Aldi gift card each week - otherwise the card is usually at home and everything is paid via Google Wallet which doesn't seem to offer Least Cost Routing or toggle it as a EFTPOS transaction.
Hopefully someone else can test this and report back though.
