Its then paying for a prepaid plan to use them which is the problem.
I mean activated by the seller via the cash register.

Here we go again… let’s stop posting these free SIM card deals. They are basically always free at most hotel lobbies and touristy places. You still have to activate it by purchasing a plan or a pack.
Suggested use for Telstra $2 SIM, without paying for plan… To access Telstra Plus without an active Telstra service.

Telstra Plus has now blocked access to Rewards store if don't have active Telstra service. Haven't used Telstra in years.
Over a month ago, bought discounted $400 mobile with 100k Telstra Plus points gained in Deal. Earnt 10k pt for purchase.
Have 32k points left from Deals, but now can't access. 24k pts buys 1 year Prime subscription…
So will try hack with $2 SIM.

The dealer that supplies these to us at work (an independent petrol station) tells us to put them near the door, as them being 'stolen' helps the phone companies at no cost to us.
If they're purchased, it's essentially a $2 donation to the business you bought it from as they don't cost us a cent to stock, and we don't pass anything back to the supplier.

Its delivered free, likely you'll make a profit, has included data & calls etc for 30d, has a number to use for Deals, & can receive calls & SMS for up to 6 months.
