  • what is the speed of writing and reading? it's important..

    • +1

Its not that fast. About 20 MB/s read and crappy 6 MB/s write.

      I'd recommend the USB 3.0 S73 model (16.99 GBP + delivery)
      Reads 45 MB/s and writes at 20MB/s.
I can confirm on USB2 it maxes out around 28MB/s read and writes at 20MB/s.
Pity flingshot sold out they had them for $23 delivered ($5 delivery waived) recently (thats where I got mine). They still have the 16GB for $12 ea + $5 shipping.

      • I've had 3 dead S73s. One was DOA and the other 2 died within a couple of days of each other. Both less than two months old. I have 3 other sticks (Verbatim and SanDisk) that I use on the same devices all the time which are still going strong. Just bad luck?

  • Nvm

  • Super-fast transfer speeds (up to 190 MB/sec)
    USB 3.0 enabled
If you want to gold plate/future proof it: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/SANDISK-EXTREME-USB-3-0-32GB-CZ80… 39Dollars … would appear to be highest MB/sec per $MB.
