Looking for a Decent 7-8" Android Tablet with SIM and MicroSD

I used to see deals on these fequently, but now that I've been asked by a few people if I know of anyone sellng them, there's nothing out there that's not really expensive (imho). The use case is a travel mobile phone replacement that's large enough to see with older eyes + the ability to have a tablet for other things.

Ideally, Android, minimum 64GB storage/4GB RAM/mSD/SIM slot. More is better, but trying to stay around $500. Would go higher for a true deal/better build quality. Ability to actually find a cover on Ebay another +.

iPad mini is decent. No mSD, but it's the best small tablet in the world easily. iPad is the best regular size tablet, and iPad Pro is the best big tablet. No contest, unless price is your deciding factor.

      It's funny you posted this. I'd found that too but was put off on the amazon reviews for it. It just seems crazy there's really nothing between android-mediocre & ipad?

        @Geekomatic: Are you referring to the amazon AU ones where it shows the UK Model? UK Model is 3GB/32GB Storage whilst Official AUS is 4GB/64GB

Even 4/64 is low for 2023. I'd like to say a device like this (laptop substitute) is covered for at least 4+ years (or longer, if it's being constructed with non-upgradable parts). And again, I'm not opposed to paying a bit more, but it seems it's this or Ipad/Surface, which is very strange.
