  • Is this better than the Xiaomi listed below?

  • Not personally used but just ordered one. It's been listed as compatible with various other expensive models
    Here's link

As compared to Xiaomi, more watts n capacity based on review link from quill

  • Might be worth watching this review testing the actual capacity https://youtu.be/ipVmm7l0sC0. Check 7min.

    • Thanks @quill
Fair numbers for a battery of this capacity as does the review @USD $80

      @AUD $65 - What say

    • Good to see Baseus exceeded their stated capacity. It's often the other way round.

Can you bring this on a plane?

    Battery Capacity: About 30000mAh/3.8V

    So it's 30Ah * 3.8V = 114Wh.

According to Qantas (https://www.qantas.com/au/en/travel-info/baggage/dangerous-g…), Li-ion batteries exceeding 100Wh requires airline approval to carry.

I don't doubt that many people are carrying this capacity and have no issues, but I'd hate to be the one person thrown out on the one particular day they check. Any experiences?

Better off bringing two 20k mAh powerbanks than have the extra hassle of having to get approval for a 30k mAh powerbank. Flying is a big enough hassle. Why add one more hassle and stress.

    • One of the pics says it is as per standards to carry it with you in flight.

Not sure how is baseus determining this

      • Quick maffs.

      • Just print new sticker for them.. from 70,000mah to 20,000 :)

      • Because it is legal for you to take on flights. No airline in Australia will say no: https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/778292

I had one of these taken off me at Frankfurt airport by security as it was greater than 100Wh. Heaps of other places hadn’t checked though.

      • +1

Moral of the story is either get approval from the airline first or run the risk of it getting confiscated.

And just because you weren't checked before won't mean the will never check ever.

      • Streamers just change the labels on them and travel worldwide with massive power banks.

        • Any ideas where they get them from?

          • @Warehouse: Print them on your printer.
            It works…

I think you'll have better luck flying with this one https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/364158141462

I have their 20,000 mah 65w Adaman version (metal/aluminium build quality one) and it is fantastic.

    • How much / where from?

        $58.64 after applying coupon.

This is for those who don't need the extra 100g weight of the 30,000 mah unit one.

ALso, the build quality is actually better on the 20,0000 mah one. Strong aluminium versus a more plasticky build on the 30,000 mah one.

  • Anyone know if this will charge a Dell XPS 17 (9550)?

  • I use these as per my previous deal. They're much better than xiaomi

  • This looks like a good deal and has a lot of inputs/outputs vs my Anker 737… but I went with Anker since I wanted the higher power output for high drain laptops (and my ROG Ally).

    • Hi, would this work for the ROG Ally though??

  • +1

Ive had this power bank for a few months now. Works fine so far charging my macbook pro 14 inch (2023) with some juice leftover to charge my phone too. Charging the power bank takes only a few hours with my dell 60W laptop charger

  • Is this good for the ROG Ally?

I think it needed 65w, but idk of at the different charing modes what that means…

    • I dont have a rog ally but i do have a 65w pd xiaomi charger. And i use it to charge my yoga laptop.

So i can't see why this won't work in an rog ally.

  • Anyone know if this one is good to take on plane?

    • You will need approval with your airline first. And dont nobody say to just take it in and dont declare it. They will confiscate it when you get caught. Or worst you can get fined for not declaring it.

    • +2

This is why I got the 60 Watt 27,000mAh Cygnet power bank. The capacity is 99.9Wh which is the maximum limit before you need approval
