Was thinking about going bigger but I'm on single phase so capped on export.
Cap or not you'll have a lot of excess for future need, the least is a resistive hot water which gives you free hot water year round, no need to spend $5k for the heat pump one.

had it done through Solar world who are located in Bankstown. All working perfectly so far, have not had any issues. Not sure about their current pricing.
6.6kw is good enough for 3-4 bedroom house?

Guessing this is the price quote you got without any state rebates. If so, then it's kinda okay I guess with the prices these days.
If it's without a state rebate, then that's exxy. I got a larger system installed in VIC without state rebate and a Fronius inverter for less than that
Price is with the rebate applied. Will not proceed with this quote because knew straight away its too expensive.
highset? lowset house? Watch out for any hidden costs eg meter board upgrade etc. Make sure some one attends site and re-confirms the final cost before you sign the dotted line.
Too expensive, find another quote, you can squeeze in 10kw for that price.
