    • Pumpkin is always good. I keep a can of unsweetened whipped cream around for waffles and pumpkin soup.

The Pea & Ham is my favourite …. YMMV.

Farmhouse Veg is my fave. As close to home made as you'll get in a can if you like tasty chunky, soft veggies. Delicious.

Price matching Coles if you want to get it locally

    • I’m not sure why OzBargain runs with the mega-corporation, price match links rather than the local price leader links.

Ultimately, Amazon will keep undercutting local businesses, resulting in less competition and higher prices.

        Yeah but Coles…

    • +1

The veg ones are alright, got a few from Coles.

These used to be $1.75 half price so rarely bother anymore, and full of salt so better making your own.

  • Woolies for Heinz.

Aldi have a knockoff stock cheaper.

    • Actually the Aldi one is a good as this one IMO, perhaps it's made by Campbell's?
      I like both of them.

Each of these is a meal. A $2 meal. Let that sink in.

      Have you just discovered soup?

Chunky pea and ham is excellent

  • Stocked up the Doomsday Pantry. Wish the OP nothing but luck in the apocalypse.

  • Does anyone else have a problem with how amazon packs the cans? Ordered 9 cans and 5 turned up with large dents. Packing was 3 pieces of brown paper.

    • +1

So what? As long as the can is in one piece that’s all that matters. It’s not like you’re keeping the can, are you?

Agree, don't be lazy and go to the supermarket and get them. Save on some waste. Ordering one or two things at a time for next day delivery isn't good, although convenient.

      • Concerned about the risk of food poisoning from damaged seams.
        https://www.foodsafety.asn.au/topic/canned-food-and-packagin….

        • What about metal contamination from scratching a spoon against side of can? Best to avoid tin foods in that case.

    • We're you intending on keeping the cans to put on display? Glad they don't waste more packaging for cans than what is needed for this product.

  • Half of my cans had large dents in them (they were just thrown in a box with no protection). I had to complain to live chat and got them for free.
