Excellent price given its the 2023 model that was just released.
Price matched at Jbhifi and purchased with Her Gift Cards (20x bonus points this week =120). Effectively $1230-$120=$1110
Happy buying!

I price matched in store
Any way to see which stores have stock?
Not sure. Purchased from Indooroopilly.
Thoughts on this in in 65 inch or the Samsung QN90B in a 65 inch for roughly the same price?
qn90b shits all over the c835 and nearly could be compared to lower end oleds. i hate samsung aswell
Interesting, I was comparing vs this new c845 model. So you would consider the QN90B at $1650 delivered as a good deal? Decisions decisions
@Rayner91: Honestly, I work in-store and look at these TVs all day. Blacks are better in the TCL, higher brightness and better OS. $1596 at JB hi-fi now.
@Turnthison: Thanks, TCL seems to have come a long way and that is seriously tempting vs the Samsung at that price. Might have to go instore and check it out for myself!
@Turnthison: There's no stock anywhere?
Free shipping also to east coast capitals also
$1593.75 now at TGG with the code.
why not an OLED with these prices :S
These are brighter than any OLED at any window size and cost the same as the very cheapest OLEDs out there. Obviously the contrast is not as good but it's still very good. Mini LED > OLED for bright rooms IMO.
How is side angle image degradation with the C845?
Hmm, found my answer here; https://www.flatpanelshd.com/review.php?subaction=showfull&i…
"The VA LCD panel in C845 has narrow viewing angles as seen in the picture below so we do not recommend it for living spaces where some users view the TV from the side. Blooming gets a lot worse from angles."
Who watches TV with full brightness?
OLEDs are plenty bright these days. I have to keep my LG CS OLED at 70%, which is not even as bright as C2 and C3.
My room has windows facing multiple directions which makes it too bright for all but the highest end WOLEDs. For night watching or dark rooms I absolutely agree with you though - in those situations an OLED is a better bet.
@sachk: My room also has 2 windows on left wall (1.5m from TV) and a stacker door opposite the wall mounted TV. Except for afternoon sun glare, which would affect most TVs including mini-LEDs, I never found my OLED lacking brightness while watching.
OLEDs have come a long way in recent years. I have a ST-60 series Panasonic Plasma in theater room which still has excellent contrast in dark, but it's way too dim compared to my OLED.
@dealhunter52: Funny that! We're still using my ST60 in our main room, and it's definitely a bit dim. I tried a Samsung Q80T, and while it's got a much brighter picture, I can't stomach the blooming when at an angle.
OLEDs are definitely on the dim side in a fully lit room during the day. We have kids and elderly at home who would prefer visibility over contrast any day, so each to their own.
Full brightness is not good for your eyes!
I can't find a reliable review.
How's its responsiveness? Would it be as fast (ie. no lag when using remote) as Chromecast with Google TV?
Would there be a terrible lag changing channels or opening the TV guide like in every cheap hotel/airbnb TV, which I associate TCL with?
I was previously using a Chromecast 4k with my old TV. Feels the same in terms of lag.

It's quite new so not many reviews yet. The European reviews should start rolling in soon. The one I linked above is quite good though.
Thanks. Looks quite decent re the lag (or its absence)!
Now I wonder why so cheap?
Here's a discussion about TCL quality in another thread, if somebody's interested.
Unless I see that TV IRL and have a try go operating it in-store, I wouldn't buy order it.
Any personal experiences with dealing with Appliance Central? Bought this from them but when I opened the box I saw scratches on the base/stand. Emailed them but no reply yet. Also the price has dropped quite a bit since I ordered..I assume they won't care/owe me anything?
Mine has a cosmetic defect as well (purchased from jbhifi). Slight scratch along the bezel that's visible in some lighting conditions. It's minor, but shouldn't be there. Submitted a claim for faulty product, curious what they'll offer as a solution.
Is this any good for PS5?
Primary reason why I bought it was for the PS5. Extremely happy.
Can't see the 55 inch on the JB HIFI website. Will support still price match?
