    Wow cheap.
Thinking of buying one and and setting up in backyard for kids and as a mancave/ Airbnb (lol, yes i have a toilet/shower/freezer/fridge/old arfryer outside)

  • They had these at BCF Munno Para SA last weekend for the same price. Was really tempting. Couldn't tell you if there are any left, I think there were around 5 when I was there.

  • I'll not be anywhere near Auburn this weekend BUT this makes me happy I paid like $46 delivered for the Pavillo Family Ground 6-person tent from a few months ago here which resembles this. Although, doubt it'll be anywhere near the quality of this one. It's now being sold at 10x the price elsewhere.. 😅

  • +4

Seems to be all BCF. Checked my local and they have it. Today and Saturday only.

  • I know it says “9 people”, but how many is it really suited for?

    • Not 87% but 50%

      • +1

        So 4.5 people?

        • Yes, but definitely not 7.83.

    • +4

Tent capacity assumes adults laying directly next to each other in sleeping bag with no room to walk around. I would say 5 to be comfortable especially if youre using blow up beds.

    • +3

9 if you all really like each other, practically a maximum of 5.

    • more like 4 people, 2 in each room. i think they calculated it 3 people in 3 rooms. the middle room is the hallway / receiving room.

      • +4

Yes, the middle room is the parlour. Your guests wait here with refreshments, while your valet presents you with their calling card.

    • If using middle room as common area, 2 adults and 2 or 3 children.

  • No love for other states

  • Dont think its instant up

  • Can't see it for that price in FNQ

    • +1

Is this price in Far Kew though.

  • I see it at my local for the full price. How do you know the price will drop tomorrow?

  • Showing as $579 for Click and collect. Are you saying if I go in store tomorrow it'll be $150?

    • +1

Yes, it will be for 150 if you go in store.

      • So can’t buy online tomorrow for $150 and click and collect?

Also where is this promo? From Instagram ?

  • Had that one, it’s not bad, esp for the price. Prefer the canvas tents though

  • +8

I've got this tent. Its spacious inside. We're two adults in one room, two kids in the other and use the middle for storage. It's spacious enough for us. Easy to stand up in and move around in. The middle has the same door on both sides so placement on a camp site is really easy.
Only gripe I have is that it's not very dark in the morning. Might bother you if you're a light sleeper.

But for $150 its a ripper of a deal.

If anyone has questions, fire away

    • +2

What material /thickness is the floor.

    • Is this easy for two people to set it up?

      • +3

I would also like to know this. Really just need a tent for 2 adults to sleep in plus toddler. This seems overkill but can't argue with the price unless it is a PITA to setup

        • +1

More than enough for your use case but if its always going to be just you three and you want the convenience of a quick pop up tent for single night stays, rather go that route maybe?

        • +2

for that many people, this is stupid. it would be like 1 person living in a mansion, lol. i would get a pop up tent, unless you guys put the toddler to sleep on one end, and try to make a sibling on the other side. then this tent is perfect.

      • +2

Takes my wife and I 10min probably.
We position it and peg the floor part first, then do the 4 poles. Pull over the cover and do the rest of the pegs. Easy enough

      • +1

        Actually surprisingly easy to setup.

    • +1

Does it dry well/not smell sour?

      • +3

Yes it does actually dry well. And it fits into the wheeled bag quite easily

    • May I ask the pack size roughly please?

  • Got this for $149 in Jan this year
Wanderer Criterion 10 Person Instant Tent

    • +4

      ROFLMAO

      certified 1 upper

add 1 more person, and $1 cheaper.

      well played

  • +3

It's nationwide $150 and it's valid today and tomorrow. Just bought one in WA. You can call your local store to confirm.

    • Today and tomorrow or tomorrow and Sunday?
Not sure where the OP got the dates but it says 1 - 2 July

      • it says 1 - 2 July?Where or who?

        • +1

Saturday and Sunday only. As I said not sure about other stores however the deal will go on at the auburn store.

      • Friday and Saturday only.

    • Just called they said it was last week deal

      • +1

Maybe not for that store. Auburn had it last week too but still have tents left so it’s going on for this week too.

      • Same for my local in QLD

  • +3

You can also signup and get $20 joining voucher which will bring down the price to $130.

    • Cheers. Also have a $15 GC so hopefully $115 tomorrow

      • +2

call your store first. my local store has this price today and tomorrow

  • Just called they told me is was $150 last week,no luck here

  • I have always wanted to grab a bigger tent (currently use a small one for 3 persons) but the wife has been rejecting it and says it's taking too much effort to set it up. I wonder for a big tent like this one, is it really that difficult for two people to set up? Thank you in advance :)

      • +1

Thank you very much for the tutorial, that seems easy to me. I'll be heading off to BCF in my area first thing in the morning!

      • man, this is a pain. i usually camp by the beach, this crap is going to fly away for sure while i attempt to assemble it, lol.

  • +1

How would this compare to Coleman Northstar 10 Person Darkroom Tent with LED for $600? Would love to know thoughts if anyone has used both. I understand for $150, it might be a no brainer, but tossing up between the two.
Also saw this on BCF, Coleman Instant Up Darkroom Tent 10 Person for $200, marked down from RRP $959.99. This is a square looking shape with 2 rooms(very thin and mesh devider) which cam be opened to give 1 big room, and also looks tall. Unlike the on on post and the one I mentioned which is 3.

  • +1

    What if someone farts?

    • +17

It then becomes a 8 person tent.

  • Rent crisis solved.

    • Not if I keep putting up the rent on your tent.

  • +1

I had this tend and it's huge but actually quite easy to put up. It got stolen so I'd consider buying another

    • These tents tend to get stolen if left unattended

      • +3

How are these tents getting stolen? Wtf lol

        • Pranksters everywhere

    • +3

      Did you call the pole-ice

  • just got one instore was told the price was today and tomorrow only

    • Auburn?

      • osborne park wa

  • +2

For $150 it's worth it. The alternatives which are 10x better are now $869.
Spare parts will be non existent so keep receipt.

  • All the stores are today and tomorrow only. OP needs to change the title. I can confirm it's a nationwide deal.

    • +1

What’s the evidence of this promo?

      • +4

        Trust me bro

      • +5

        Bad lighting, but here

        • Is that photoshop? 😂

        • +2

Thanks! Just bought one from Myaree WA. They had the $579 sign up but I showed them your image and they were more than happy to match it straight away. Said it was EOFY stock clearance.

      • +1

Call your local store. I bought one from Balcatta, WA store.

    • No Saturday and Sunday mate in most Sydney stores. Got the confirmation from a worker.

  • +1

Should I buy? Or will I never use this lol
Got 2 little boys so maybe buy it and try it one day?

    • Im going to set mine up in backyard

Will be good for those chilli clear sky days to hangout with kids and get warm as i get sun all day in the backyard. A few solar panels from marketplace and will be offgrid too lol

      • Lol sounds awesome, wish I could do that. I got a pool in my backyard and don’t really have any space to put a tent but even if I did, my area has too much light pollution, road traffic and loud lebbo neighbours 🤪 I need to move somewhere quiet and nice lol
