Recommend a Business That Offers and Replace Home Carpet in Sydney?

Hey guys,

I am new to home renos and I am that guy who will shop on and off for weeks and/or months until I feel comfortable finding a fair or great deal.

I need to replace carpet in a new home I am moving in for 2 bedrooms only. The bedrooms are not that big only roughly 3m x 3.5m but I have looked at a lot of online quotes and it seems there's no median price, so I don't know what my budget could be. Some quoted $1.5k and some up to $5k, some need to come out for a free quote.

I live in Inner West Sydney, does anyone have any business or company suggestions who is a reliable business that I can buy carpet from and they can rip out and install it before I move in?

Originally my budget is $2k or less, I don't know if that's a reasonable budget.

  Why don't you try hipages
  Put in what you're after and it'll source 3 suppliers for you who will give you a quote then you can select from one of them (if you wanted), or you can allow more (than the original 3) suppliers to quote.

  Some may still want to come out to quote but it basically facilitates the quoting process for you

  Doesn't that depend on type of carpet/skirting and the underlay?

  The price of carpeting depends largely on the price of the carpet which could explain why your prices vary so much. Installation is pretty much a set rate per m2.
