Also available at Zing/EBgames with their current sales for $19 if you have store with stock nearby.

What hue do you think of when we say “apple”? Hues and Cues is the award-winning vibrant game of colorful communication where players are challenged to make connections to colors with words. Using only one and two-word cues, players try to get others to guess a specific hue from the 480 colors on the game board. The closer the guesses are to the target, the more points you earn. Since everyone imagines colors differently, connecting colors and clues has never been this much fun

BGO reports this price as a 52 week low.

Next best price is the usual price of $35 at Big W

BGG have the stats as:
* Players: 3-10
* Weight: 1.3
* Playing Time: 30 minutes

    Doesnt sound like the best game for the colour blind…

    • You might be surprised how many games are not quite suitable for the colour blind.

        Perfect game for me. I'm colourblind and love dragging my team down

        can say that about most things in the world. accessibility isn't a problem for people until they rely on it. more needs to be done

      Someone on BGG commented on this:

      First, since I'm sure it'll come up. Even though this game is about color, it is friendly to people with color deficiencies. Because it is about color perception matching, and not about "what color is this object", a person with deficiencies can compete. Where they see an apple, for example, on the grid will closely line up with where everyone else sees an apple. In fact, even those of us without diagnosed deficiencies see colors differently! This feature was playtested with multiple publishers, during our own playtests and shown to a board certified ophthalmologist. He commented that the only person who could not play were those who only see in grayscale and those have typically had some sort of serious trauma to cause that to happen (meaning, extremely rare).

        When i read having to pick out of 480 colours I immediately backed away since I cant even tell the difference between some primary colours. I still think I will give it a pass.

    Excellent game…i just ordered it 2 weeks ago for $35….now requested amazon for a $16 refund which they just agreed to.

    Thanks OP you just got me $16 back!

    • Wow.
      Never did any refunds for me in similar cases.
      May be something has changed in their policies…

      • +5

        their exact words were that they can't reimburse me the price difference and that it goes against policy….then when they said the only solution is to return the old one (and refund it), and buy the new one. When i said "ok, thankyou for letting me know, just wanted to check with yourselves first", then i clicked "add to cart" on the $19 one….i reckon they had some sort of visibility of my actions because i kid you not, 10 seconds after i added it to cart the customer service chat said "one moment, I'll see if i can escalate this"

        Of which they promptly got back to me saying they will refund the $16 price difference.

        However, if they didn't refund the price difference, all i would have done is order the $19 one, then without opening it put the refund sticker from the $35 one on the box and send it back.

        However the result on the chat was still beneficial for all parties….i get the price difference back, and amazon doesn't have to pay for more shipping.

          @whitepuma @tm32 @access denied - I had the exact same situation, purchased 2 weeks ago at $35 and tried to get the $16 difference refunded, even added it to the cart. The Amazon chat representative wouldn't budge. I got transferred to another chat representative who wouldn't budge either. Then my case got lodged with their customer support team who got back to me today saying "Our prices may increase or decrease based on a number of factors and unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund for the difference between the price in your order and the lower price you saw on our website."

          I guess you must have got lucky on this occasion! Enjoy the savings :)

          By the time I got this reply it is of course out of stock now. So I would simply suggest just returning and re-ording in future to skip the risk and let Amazon cop the costs for their policy choices.

          • @JimmyLmao: yeah that sucks that you didn't get it….i reckon maybe the stock levels drove their decision a bit here.

            I think another element of it is just luck of the draw of who you speak to on their customer service side

        New policy? Ive never been successful in convincing them whether it was after the sale or even before they shipped the item and could've cancel.

    • So glad I got the $16 reimbursed before they went OOS

    That's weird, it won't accept my delivery address

    • Me too just got this message;

      Sorry, this item can't be delivered to your selected address.
      Learn more. You may either change the delivery address or delete the item from your order.

      • I've never had that with Amazon au before

        Weird. I managed to order now that it's out of stock

        • They can’t deliver perfumes to my address due to some reason but this is really odd for games.

  • Thanks OP, ordered. Sounds like a fun game
