do you need a wrist rest? looks bloody uncomfortable…
I have a similar style keyboard and definitely recommend a wrist rest. I got a cheapie from amazon that does the job
EDIT: MY mistake I had the G915 TKL wireless, even more expensive..
Good price but abit about my experience, the build quality on the key caps is very bad, in under 6 months the black paint started to wear of the letters leaving the letters unreadable and just pov looking. First time i've had it happen on a keyboard, warranty took over 6 months as i waited for a replacement and in the end got a refund.
Other then that the typing feel of the keys is ok and the wireless is very good with minimal lag.
i have had this for 2 years now and other than a slight shine, all my keys are not faded and paint didnt wear off. although i did drop some water on it and now the light sync on some keys dont go to the same colour
This is the normal price lol
I would have considered this since you can use cherry stem keycaps but Logitech's bottom row is proprietary so some keys won't fit.
iirc this doesnt do per key macro, there are set keys you have to use for macroing which somewhat defeats the purpose of a keyboard macro and it doesnt even have onboard memory. i never understood why it was designed this way, either the manufacturer or product manager doesnt know what a macro is or is just hired for the wrong job. either way im just ranting because im a TKL fanboy and stuff like this pisses me off.
get yourself either a corsair, razer or coolermaster. their modern TKL lineup has individual macros and have onboard memory.
you can use software to remap keys but goodluck trying to play games that block you from playing because it thinks you "might" be cheating for using said software. that's where having an onboard memory with macros come in handy.
I've had this keyboard for about 3 years - I do NOT recommend. 'Key' reasons:
1. Keys don't feel great (require a lot of force, then fall off sharply after actuation point)
2. the keycaps go shiny quickly
3. Had a few break through normal use
4. Annoyingly, you can't find replacement key caps (stay clear of non-standard proprietary keycaps)
5. RGBs started to play up a year ago (i.e. 2 years of ownership) - it's a known issue according to many forums.
$100 IS a good price, but honestly, there's nothing special about the keyboard. Better to get one which has standard switches (MX) that you can replace switches or keycaps.
even cheaper on eBay
