I've been trying to find a 2nd monitor during these EOFY sales and I came across this Dell monitor. I do game so I wanted to see if these specs are worth the price.
I've already have a 27inch monitor at home so I'm still contemplating whether to get the same size or have one slightly bigger. The 32inch version is $100 on top.

It's fine if you play competitive games and prefer fast response times above anything else.
Otherwise, not really ideal. 27" is small, 1080p is low res nowadays and not the best panel.

You would definitely want at least 1440p at 32"+. Much higher res and sharpness.
If your graphics card can handle it, I suggest getting a 1440/4K panel, the resolution is a night and day difference - even when you’re just browsing the web or watching YouTube. IMO 1080p is only really suited for 23-24” panels or smaller, text does not look good at all on a 27”, let alone a 32”.
Another consideration is the price though, a good 1440p 144hz panel is around double the price, and for 4K triple the price. At 32”, definitely consider 4K if your budget and GPU allows.

You'd be better off with something like this: https://www.dell.com/en-au/shop/dell-27-qhd-monitor-se2723ds… for $297. It's a 27 inch QHD (2560 x 1440), so heaps more screen real estate.

Just as an FYI — I ordered a SE2723DS from Dell yesterday after seeing your post and noticing the EOFY sale.
I checked the order tracking this morning and it won't ship until mid-August.
This doesn't appear anywhere on the Dell site/product page that I can see, only showed up after ordering.
