Personally I bought the King stone from the last deal but figured this would suit those looking/wanting to up their sharpening game.

Save your $2.30, you can get the same result by sharpening your knife on the pavement.

If you search hard enough, there're often King stones on Amazon for about $25. I got a couple recently.
Do those pop up regularly? I also went all in on the king stones when they were cheap

Can vouch for the shapton ha no kuromaku stones.. lovely feel. Aggressive bite and last a long time if taken care of.
Would this be suitable for sharpening Yaxell Mon knives?
Bought this for like $41.82 a few days ago, paired with a 5000 Shapton :)
