I recently booked accommodation with Booking.com with a ShopBack 10% cashback. An hour later I changed the booking and added an extra night. When changing the booking I made sure I still had the 'ShopBack' logo on the Booking.com web site to track the activity.
Will I still receive a cashback for this booking?

Maybe, but on the first booking only I would think.
Most of these cashbacks sites are a scam these days and regularly fail to the point it isn't worth it.
I find it's easier to earn reward points than cashback offers. Cashback offers tend to get declined more often.
Correct, the amount of 'declined' cashbacks is crazy high that I gave up bothering.
If there is free cancellation and room is still available, I would cancel and rebook to be sure.
I've read that booking.com can tell if you've canceled and re-booked. The verifications in place can be sophisticated and sometimes unfair. However, I can understand why cancelling a booking in order to get a better cashback offer will void the new cashback attempt.
I think it would be unfair to penalise me for simply deciding to stay a day longer than originally booked.
I have never heard of this, and in the past have done it and received my cashback, but YMMV

sorry to necro but did you find out if changing the booking invalidates the cashback?
I had to cancel the booking due to a change in travel dates.
