Netflix Sharing Etiquette/Allowance

Hello

Recently went through the effort to sign up with Netflix turkey thanks to @Ismellpennies hard work.

This came after I was finally booted for sharing someone else's Netflix thanks to Netflix Au crackdown on PW sharing.

I just purchased the top tier 4k plan in Turkey. I believe they don't have the similar crack down on password sharing in Turkey so I'm hoping to leverage that by sharing my account fees with other members.

Couple quick questions though if anyone can help:

1. How many people can I share with and how many can watch at the same time?
2. Is it just a matter of sharing the password? How can I ensure whoever I share with, doesn't infiltrate and change my own, effectively kicking me out?

  If the email address can't be changed, then you can always do a recovery password.
  If it can be, then you can't stop it, but at ~$9/mth for a 4k Netflix account via turkey, I'd probably not stress over losing access to the account if you choose to try and reduce that by sharing it

  Can’t you set a pin code lock for the master account to reduce the likelihood of “family” accounts accessing it?

  I believe noone else can try and change the password if you're the one the email is registered under. With the top tier, I believe you can share it with 4 people - and you can create 4 separate profiles for 4 people (the password is the same across the 4).

    Awesome thankyou for the information. Ill get back to you as soon as I get all 4 members.

    Do you know if all 4 can watch at the same time?

    And what's the odds that I can split it with 5 or 6 people, with the view that only 4 members use it at any one time?

    In my head, there's probably only a very very low likelihood of all 6 members using it at once.

  maximum of 5 profiles but only 4 can use it at the same time.

  So you + 3 other people can watch at the same time at most.

  There is also a location lock on the account for the first ~30 days according to the netflix thread. So you need to make sure that you are able to get off the lock before trying to get other members.

  You already answered your own question if you were on someone else's netflix prior. There is nothing stopping someone from accessing your netflix account and deleting all your watch list or watching something on it.
