I'm not into beer or homebrew, but this seems like a pretty good deal. 50L of beer for $125 = $2.50 per Litre! Same as this deal http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/78056, but new vouchers available if anyone missed out.
Note, you need to BYO bottles (or Keg) or buy theirs at extra cost ($65 extra for 150 bottles) and travel to the edge of Sydney (twice), but could be an interesting experience.
This isn't a deal, there are dozens of places around aus that operate DIY micro brew and this is a standard price.
There are normally around 150 different types of beer and the price is staggered between those that use cheap or fewer hops and the more expensive ones that use more or more expensive ones.
They all have comparisons on a sheet so you know that it will taste similar to say crown larger or Heineken.
Prices normally vary between $120-$160 for 6 slabs depending on what you get plus bottles.
I do agree that this is a great bit of fun (I even had a keg master for a while) but this beer is not a permanent cheap beer solution because if you live of this stuff for a while and then taste the real stuff then you'll switch back fast.
(anyone in the Wyndham area (vic) may want to try out The Brew Barn in hoppers crossing)
