Cashrewards and Using an Unlisted Coupon Code

Hey everyone, I have a question about Cash Rewards.

I'll try and keep this as concise as I can…

Delonghi via CR have a promo of 15% back (https://www.cashrewards.com.au/delonghi#coupons)
Delonghi, via a newsletter signup gave me a code to use for $50 off at checkout.
There is a comment on CR saying: "Cashback is ineligible on the following: Purchases using coupon codes not listed on Cashrewards."

Does this mean if I use the $50 coupon, the CR will eventually reject?

  This statement contains no ambiguity. Purchase an item using a coupon code that is not listed on CR, then cashback is ineligible.

  The purchase may tracked, and the cashback claim rejected later. If the cashback claim is approved and paid out, then it is a surprise bonus.

    If it is tracked at the anticipated rate, far more likely to be approved. If it is to be rejected, most likely to be rejected upon tracking.
