Beat me to it
You can send it to Taronga zoo…
I'll forward this comment to the trash…
to the trash…
Don't buy these trash bed in a box mattresses. They suck. Go find a local mattress manufacturer. You'll be able to buy a good spring mattress for the same or cheaper. The mattress will be more comfortable and will last longer.
….but i love mine
Tried that once. It was horrible within about 5 years. The problem with local manufacturers vs. national ones is that there is no way to compare quality, as almost nobody else has that model or brand or publishes a review about it. As a result you have no idea how long the mattress will stay comfortable. All local brands claim to be superior, with all kind of fancy names for what is essentially a similar product that never changes over the years.
I don't pretend to have a solution, other than spending big on a Tempur, which stay amazingly good (no comparison). Ergoflex is cheaper and not too bad. My issue with Koala is that they have been paying people for positive reviews, so I don't know how good they really are.
Bought my sleeping duck mattress 2 years ago. It came in a box. Can’t fault it really, feels and looks pretty much the same as when we bought it.
4.9 stars on product review can't be legit
Product review is garbage tbh
That’s what I thought and bought it.. won’t make the mistake again all paid reviews…
They used to pay people for reviews. Not sure if they still do it.
I trialled a king mattress and had to return it. You can't sit on the edge and caused a dent within weeks of using it. Was comfortable while it lasted though.
I bought a cheap spring mattress from t&w and it's been quite comfortable, my old spring mattress lasted 11+ years and costed $1000, so sad when it broke (spring snapped on the edge).
The cheap mattress in comparison is not bad at all for $400., it's been 14 months so far on it.
i bought the expensive one (Calm As). It was so comfortable but exacerbated my sciatica and sagged within two weeks. Do not get fooled by the immediate comfort of memory foam mattresses, they will sag very quickly and ruin your back.
Agree. If budget allows get pocket springs with a pillow top medium generally works for most people.
Tempur. Very expensive, but still great after 10 years.
Downside is you can't sleep comfortably on any other mattress anymore, so holidays away from home result in back pain. You get too used to support.
Cray Cray, they do have the 120 Night to return it though like the other online mattress companies, so can be okay for some people to try longer, my GF has one and I find it good and hasn't sagged (1.5 years), but not for everyone, I am not sure how realistic those ratings on the website is though.
The markets all appear to be a bunch of lies including the reviewers so ? My old back is knackered so need something ? Should i buy a hospital bed with a pressure fluctuating mattress? Comments invited PLEASE !!!!!
First, believe no one. Everyone's got a story, which is probably true, but may not necessarily work for you.
Second, be open-minded. Some box matts can really work for you, so consider using their free trial to see if it really works for you.
Third, as always, buy from a retailer or online company that will provide good customer service. Online brands like Emma are known to be notorious with free trial service, although some have had better luck.
Lastly, don't lose hope. Your soul-mattress is out there!
Almost 10 years ago I bought a very expensive coil spring mattress and for the last few years have found it sagging and not very comfortable.
Koala came out with the soul mate mattress last year and were offering a 1 year trial, so I bought and tried it. I hate to admit that it's been fantastic and a lot of my back pain is gone. Still debating internally as to whether I can really spend 2k on a box mattress but I can't fault it thus far.
I have one at the moment. Don’t waste your money, it’s not great and causes back pain after a while. For similar cost, I found Macoda mattress to be much better in comfort and quality.
Of course nothing trumps the more expensive options like Tempur, King Coil etc for true comfort.
Anyone has any experience with Zeek hybrid mattress?

Not sure what's the neg around this brand? I bought a king size Koala mattress 2 years ago and have been very happy with it, helps a lot with my back pain issue. Now I'm thinking about buying 1 for my little boy as well. Is there any other brand around this price that's superior in quality? Prefer something a bit on the firmer side.
I'll forward this deal to the zoo…
