      tablet exists

      "Wannabe iPad".

      Always.

  • I've got one of these, and for the money it's pretty good. UI is snappy enough, and it is very light (at least compared to 10" tablets).

    • Whats the downsides? Android 13 is pretty good.

    • What's the charging speed like? Specs suggest 10W which is painfully slow in this day and age.

I own play 50 (large) and this one.

This smallest tablet it’s a decent speed for the money. I don’t like that I can’t really transfer apps to the micro sd. The standard version allows you to install the micro sd as part of the tablet memory, it’s also faster with 6gb ram. They both support hd playback including YouTube, Foxtel, Disney. However, Netflix is sd which is expected from a low priced tablet.

If you need the smaller factor go for this one. If you want a faster tablet go for the iplay 50.

Both pretty slow when charging (I use magnetic cables as some have reported that the Alldocube tablet tend to stop charging if plugging/unplugging).

  • purchased this Tablet from the https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/778717 deal.
Took ~2 weeks to arrive - Different seller so probably doesnt apply here.

    Tablet itself:
    - be prepared to download 2-3 updates (approx 1-1.5GB each) out of the box.
    - for some reason my wifi could not activate till i plugged in my own external wifi dongle (with the provided USB-C OTG dongle) to get the inbuilt wifi to work?
    - performance of the tablet is OK… takes abit for the screen to appear when you put it to sleep (think iphone 6 kind of speeds) - similar kind of delay when you go from portrait to landscape if you are playing a video.
    - speakers are mid to low at best
    - touch is good - responsive/does the job.

use mainly in the kitchen as a recipe viewer/ youtube while eating or background music…. for this price decent purchase.
Dont expect to be typing any emails or taking photos with this tablet.

  • Got this from the last deal and have been using as my HomeAssistant dashboard wall panel. Perfect for my use case, it's very responsive and the display is pretty decent.

  • Mine just arrived that I ordered 2 weeks ago, and very happy with it so far. I just use it for reading ebooks, browsing and video

Much better performance and snappier than the lost Galaxy A7 it is replacing

  • surely at this price just get a refurb Ipad mini 4 @ ~200
million times more reliable, screen quality ~ PPI, battery longevity, overheating issues, lag etc etc
