is $529 on dcexpert ebay store with ebayplus
have considered buying but love my primes

    • Get it dude, I got it for my Sony and its sharper than my primes.

      • I have an a6000 and have been considering this vs the sigma trio. Is there a significant different between the sets?

        • the zoom is like the trio except that you cannot have a wider aperture but you dont have to change lens

          • @peetahuynh: That was my consideration, but for most day to day use I think the zoom shoud be fine which beats carry 3 lenses and the cost. Might consider a wider FOV and aperture for landscape/astro as the secondary.

            • @samuellim18: i think you should be fine with the zoom then. its like jack of all trades. ive done astro and landscape and it does a pretty good job. but i would get a prime to cover the wide end.

            • @samuellim18: For astro get the samuang 12mm 2.0. Manual focus, but super sharp and plenty bright

I’ve stopped using my trio ever since I got this. You won’t be disappointed. I don’t have to change lenses as often anymore, makes my kit lighter and more conveniant.

      • yeah but not as wide as my 13mm or as long as my 56mm and miss the wider aperture on the crop sensor.
Also plenty of copies of the very similar fuji kit lens around dirt cheap

      • I've got it for my Sony A6400 and it pretty much hasn't left my camera since getting it… shame it doesn't have image stabilisation, but I haven't missed that for my usage particularly.

    • Is dcxpert eBay reputable?

My favorite seller on eBay. I rate above all others.

Just remember not to send anything back (even unopened), I did and was quietly banned. Tried to communicate and seek leniency for another purchase at a later date, but unfortunately, no reply. Pity, because up until that point I was happy with the purchases, prompt shipping and service. My fault. Lesson learnt.

        • i had a different experience…
ordered the wrong mount lens, i had unboxed then realised - submitted a question and i shipped it back no questions asked and got a refund so I could get the right mount.

          NO SOUP FOR YOU!!

Actually…I have to say that after sales support can be patchy for CRK. I did buy a Pentax Ltd lens cap off them that was missing the lining - e-mailed about it and simply never got a reply.

I also shipped a camera back under warranty, and it was in and repaired and out again in no time.

The shipping though is super fast, and packed beyond reproach. We get some of the best prices in the world on some of the gear they stock.

          Whatever….they have a lot of my hard-earned.

    • ugly af on the fuji bodies, crazy value lens tho,

I have one but dont use it, primes are nicer to use

      • Any good primes to recommend?

        • i have the viltrox 13mm 1.4 and sigma 56mm 1.4
          good little pairing

        • I really like the 33mm f1.4. Amazing lens. 23mm f2 is nice as well for a smaller lens to carry around. I've also tried the 27mm and the size is awesome but I'm not quite use to that in between focal length.

I grabbed one of these sigmas in a recent ebay sale and must admit I really like it. Ever since switching to Fuji a couple years ago, I've been on the prime lenses and think they've really helped me improve my photography. So when I've been using the sigma lately it feels like I've gone back to point and shooting without thinking as much about composition etc. The lack of aperture ring and plasticky feel are main negatives for me. But the compact size is worth the trade off.

        • I managed to snag some really good deals sitting on fb marketplace so its hard to compare.

I've sold off my XT5 and only have an xpro2 as a walk around now so I'm using 18mm f2 and 27mm f2.8 wr

really depends how and what you shoot but the 7artisan 28mm f2.8 is like 200$ new on ebay and can't go wrong with that, it does have vignetting around the corners meaning the edges of the photo will be darker but it'll put more focus on your subject if it's centered so can be a good thing too. can't really go wrong with any of the f2s,
