    That NFS game looks great

    • It's not. Average at best, super repetitive, higher level chases are just annoying..

      But hey, it's free!

      • Are we talking regular repetitive or Ubisoft repetitive?

        • If you played NFS Heat, this is almost exactly the same game - just with some tweaks. Normal races during the day, street races at night.

my patience paid off, finally… played NFS using the 10 hour trial and was tempted to buy it, but i knew it would end up on here eventually :)

    • The one pre-owned game I buy in like 5 years… Got it a couple of weeks ago

        thank you for your sacrifice

I feel robbed, I actually enjoyed the 10 hours trial, picked up the game for $80, played another 15 hours, now it sits on my self as my stomach churns in buyers remorse.

I misread bookwalker as bookwanker and immediately wanted to jump back into Ozzie Man's Game of Thrones videos.

  • Wish they could bring more titles from SEGA like Lost judgement

  • Is this a deal or subscription news?

    • -1

subscription news. Its the games that are going to be added this month

  • Good news I have been putting off trying unbound as I’m unsure of the art style.

  • Might not be for everyone but this months games look right up my alley

    • +1

Gamepass is all about the green eggs and ham, giving you stuff you wind up really liking that you'd never have tried if it wasn't served to you for free. There's no way known I'd have ever bought Coffee Talk because nothing about it would have encouraged me to transact, and yet it's one of the better games I've played this year.

  • Arcade paradise looks a bit interesting for us oldertimers.

On that note, if anyone has a Meta Quest and wants to play a free arcade emulator that allows you to add real arcade ROMS, check out Age of Joy https://curifab.itch.io/age-of-joy

Currently in Beta but very playable, version 0.4 due out shortly with more features.

    • It reviewed really well and I think the oldtimer factor multiplies the enjoyment gained from this one.

Honestly Game Pass Ultimate isn't great value anymore, it's mostly indie games being added and if you compared the cost versus just buying the games you actually want to play on sale, it's no longer there.

  • Game pass prices going up next month

    • source?

  • +1

But it's still a 10 hour trial today, Need for Speed

    • +2

as usual, quite possibly since everything is meant to revolve around the centre of the universe, ie USA time zone ? We Aussie plebs might get it tomorrow June 23rd here ?

      • +1

Yeah I think a previous time I had tried to play something already released, but then moved to Game Pass it was 2pm the next day :(
9am has been mentioned a couple of times too for AEST.
but they were Game Pass direct. This is EA Play so could be completely different again.
Those Yanks are soo behind the times ;)

  • I've been trying to get a little more into gaming and have been looking into either getting a PS5/Xbox or a PC but cloud gaming seems to be a good option. Is xbox game pass the best of the available cloud gaming services in Aus?
